•Always be positive. Focus on working to free Idahoans from discrimination and bullying. Don't focus on hate or anti-gay attitudes. Ask them to support or co-sponsor the legislation.
•Thank those who have been co-sponsors in the past (see comments on lawmakers list at left.)
•Never argue or burn bridges. We will need this lawmaker's votes in the future.
•Remember what you say will reflect on the entire issue & community. Be respectful & focus on what we want them to do to make Idaho a better place.

Fair Employment

The Senate State Affairs Committee is a critical committee. The Add the Words 2012 version of Senate bill 1033 will need a public hearing in the Committee. This bill will add the words "sexual orientation" & "gender identity" to Idaho's Human Rights Act to prohibit discrimination in employment, housing, education & public accomodation.
